Saxo door trim need help

Secondly passenger side door smileys/sad.gif previous owner left it in the sun for too long i guess and the black trim seperating the windows has rinkled.

Please help i need to no how to remove it im a newbie and i dont want to mess my first car up.

just heat it up with a hair dryer to warm the glue and peel off a bit at a time

must admitt i like the coding on the bumpers. very nice. as for your problem. mines has done that too but on the drivers side. its the black stuff that runs from the back edge of the window across to the edge of the door isnt it?
id leave it till the weather warms up a bit to be honest mate and then use the hairdryer on full wack like hesslevtr said. it will take ages in winter with how cold your car door will be!

I didnt exzspect a responce that quickly! It is standard paint pos blue as bluefurio said, & yes it is that black stuff thats decided to go funny, aparently it is a comon problem with the saxo! Gr8 cars to drive tho! love mine smileys/smiley4.gif all my mates are jelous because im only 18 and i have a vtr, cant wait to do some moding to it.

you'll enjoy modding it! in my opinion id get some simple breathing mods 1st. e.g 4-2-1 manifold and a straight thru. these make a nice increase. i say that because i like the way your sax looks at the mo. maybe get some alloys tho kid!
standard saxo alloys are fine but it would lok ace on a set of 5 spoke 16's smileys/smiley2.gif

Cheers, this is a brilliant site, i hav been on here alot before but decided id just sign up tonite lol, saxo heaven!

at the moment i only have a sound system in the car which consists of a 12" jbl 1000 watt sub 2 amps 1 alpine and 1 pro plus cant think the pro plus is a 800 watt not sure what the alpine is.

Straight away i had a clifford alarm fitted which i had alot of problems with (central locking) went absolutly crazy needed a new "relay" or somthing.

i plan on buying some vts alloys and lowering the car not sure by how much tho. Il also be buying a nice new exhaust system and some lexus lites for the back. Front grills changing too its going to be pos blue and ome mesh leaving the chevrons silver & il be spraying the center console pos blue too thatl be it for the moment as i will be looking to get insured on a Vts at the end of the year.

yer i wudnt get lexus lights. they are fine inmy opinion but everyone else seems to proper hate them! get some jewel lights or some smoked lights matey

I was going to get black smoked lights but atm i am short on cash. & i have had an insurance quote on a phase 1 Vts for 2k which sux cos i cud have had that as my first car lol. I much prefer the look of my saxo tho.

Fitted a black bonet today, looks alrite, might keep it on for a bit i have the other in the shed.
