i would say its a mk1 being a t reg, they did swap to mk2 in 1999 but i think they are all v regs, mk1 square ish lights, mk2 round, on a mk2 the grill comes up with the bonnet, hope the helps mate

ok mk1 then but that pump will fit on mk1 or mk2 so it dosnt matter what one you get it off

always best to replace with a like for like, but from what ive read on this site you can use a mk2 pump but they are different if you do a search im sure ive seen a couple of threads on it.
