wheels locked up whilst goin round a corner and went into a kerb, the near side tyre took the impact, nw the wheel seen a bit pushed back, just wondering if any one knows what iv done and how much it wil cost to fix? Cheers

Umm, How did the wheels lock up whilst going round a corner :wacko: i hope you didn't brake, as that could be another problem if your caliper just seizd.
anyway, probably a bent wishbone but also could be a driveshaft aswell,and the strut you will need to take the wheel off and look for abnormal creases and take some piccy's

i braked bt the road was wet so just slid along, anyway just been to mechanics and they say its the front arm, theyve quoted £135 for the arm, labour and reseting the chamber, is this about righ?

front arm, that means the wishbone its a very quick change, there are two bolts in the Footwell, and another underneath and one by the ball joint, this is what it looks like

if your capable and have the tools i would advise getting a good condition S/H one (about £15-£30) and fit it yourself, and then get the alignment setup at a garage (about £10) but for a new part with ball joing labour etc, £135 is very good price.
