Well my dad used to have one which he sold:n:, so i've started saving up for one.. looking to spend 800 - 1500 on it. Just wondering will it be cheaper to buy them in winter time? Because they will be out of season and less people will be using them? I'd use it in the winter! Also if any of you have one, post pictures up!

yes all jetskis are made by kwak but are not all stand up, all the other makes i.e yamaha, seadoo tiger shark and various others are called pwc (personal water craft) as kawasaki have got copyrite to the name "jetski"

best time to looks winter normally but its a real paradise at the minute for picking up jet skiis and powerboats as they are a leasure thing and people are struggling to have the money to visit there caravan sites at weekends. my caravan sites near on dead now and it was a family orientated site with plenty of jet skis and powerboats. but noones got any money.
i had my own sea doo xp and kawasaki x2 years ago
also my dad had a seadoo spx last year but my old man sold it after my sister fucked it when she paniced after falling off and tipping it over leaving it upside down for about 3 minutes(stupid bint)and it nearly sank lol salt water fucked the engine and it had loads of problems, but were looking for one of them supercharged xps now.
this is how good things are for bargains at the minute my oldmans just picked up 7ks worth of rib for 3k.
also another thing to go after at the minute are the formula powerboats my old mans used to drink 100 quid a day that was about 3 years ago so imagine how thirsty they are now, propper miami vice boat with normally a 5.7 or 7.4 v8 350 mag engine dads mates are having to sell theres now as its just unaffordable especially with the fees to launch/bring out and the ball ache of launching a big boat.
i reaken wait around though till winter i reaken youll be able to pick up a year 2000 ski for about 2500, for 800-1500 id go nearer the 1500 and even at that you will struggle to get a good ski with no problems.
most have been in saltwater all of their lives and if you get something like a 1993 ski its gonna cost you matey on repairs you may be lucky though and find somone who desparately needs the money like my dad did for a good ski your normally looking 3000-4000 brand new now they are going for well over 10k.

your sdaxo would tow one no problem matey, so long as you aint launching on a ramp covered in green algy shit or youll wheelspin to fuck coming back up lol, cousins 1.4 astra mk3 towed his 16ft fletcher with a 75 on the back perfectly fine.

Never ridden one, what speeds they get upto?
What if you come off one? Be like hitting concrete wouldnt it?
my old xp used to do 60mph which is fast on the water they do about 80-100mph the modern ones, fuck falling off at top end although it wouldnt hurt too bad if you fall off in a straight line with your impact jacket stops you getting winded. its the most fun you can have and 360ing them round at 50mph and trying to hold on most of the time it dont hurt but my dads mate broke his arm in the rough sea as he come down he came down hard and slipped smashing his elbow off the ski.
if you head out on a rough day though when theres no boats id suggest you ride with somone you try getting back on in rough seas the 3-4 seaters are more stable to get back on and not really a problem at all but less fun the 2 seaters are a ball ache if your a heavy cunt like me you have to pull yourself up quickly or the ski will go over and after about 4 attempts your knackered.
i found the kwaks front hand control to be better than the sea doos thumb control as your thumb aches but thumb controls more responsive the 1st few times on a ski on a really rough day you end up fucked and ache and covered in bruises its like youve had a full gym workout ort even been boxing.:y:
