right ive unfortunatly crashed my saxo and is beyond repair so ive decided to brake it and move on. (still got engine and other bits to sell, pm me any questions)
ive been looking at the 205 gti with the mi 16 conversion with the addition of ITB's and PnP standalone (the predator ecu may be getting manufactured for this engine in the future). But 2 things have confused me with a car am considering.
"1. original 1.9 GTI loom used for ease of conversion, with a de-limited ecu to use the full rev range.
2. custom machined 1.9 water housing to retain distributer"
How problamatic would it be to get rid of the distributer set up and replace it with PnP standalone?
with the 1st statement above i believe the guy has spliced the loom and connected it to the mi 16 engine loom, would this allow the pnp standalone ecu to work correctly?
any helpful input on the above questions and knowledge people could share on this topic would be appreciated.
cheers,
Dale.
