Starting to convert a 1.1 to a VTS & started job only to find the circular wiring pin on the nearside wing will not accept the VTS engine wiring loom. :wall:

Anyone come across this before or have any ideas, it would be great.

Thanks

TBH if you're not going to answer the question or give any form of helpful advice you really would be better finding the nearest sh*tter to drown yourself in.

With regards to the actual question i presume that you're trying to plug in the main plug at the front of the engine bay infront of the battery (where engine loom plugs into car loom???)

First and simply what year is your car, and what year is the engine and loom that you've put in?

sounds a bit like incorrect loom match

as willsy has asked what years your car
and what year engine (and was it vts or 106 gti engine)

as there are several different types of plug setups across the years

The car is a 2002 but the engine is supposed to be a MK2 VTS but wouldnt this fit? Would the engine & loom be a MK1 do you think?

Thanks for your help.

Do abit of chopping and joining, takes a while but do-able. I put a mk1 vts engine in my 2002 furio but used a mk2 vtr loom so had to cut a few wires and join.
