Any help on this would be much appreciated..

I got some VTR wheels off of E-bay, I suspect they were off a Mk1 vtr but Have been told so many difference between the mk 1&2 wheels i don't know what's what. Pictured below is the wheel and i was told MK1 didnt have a tapered bolt holding as these do:

So i went to citroen to order the bolts for these and this is what i was given:

are these MK1 vtr wheels bolts or do they fit both MK 1&2 vtr wheels ?

The reason i need to know is i sold the wheels before i got round to putting them on and have the bolts left over and i want to know exactly what they will fit before selling as i don't want to do anyone over.. I'm not sure if citroen would take them back either.

If this thread doesn't make any sense please let me know and ill have a go at trying to word it better.

thanks. henry

From my experience all VTR alloys have the flat seated and tapered fitment, you can use either. Just people on forums hear and say different things, and Citroen havent got a clue lol.

Flat seated bolts will fit all VTR alloys (including the early VTS alloys as theyre the same), Pug 205 GTi alloys and a few others but Im sure others will post help with that mate

I need different studs for different wheels, I have 8 VTR alloys, and some studs dont fit some wheels. Will try to get pics tomorrow if we get dry 5 minutes (sure it has rained at some point each day for last 40 or 50 days)

cyclones, nimrods, 205, vtr, vts, xsi alloys nearly all pug and citreon alloys as they dont have the wider part at the part closest to the head of the bolt if that helps at all mate

Older style VTR wheel bolt on left, newer one on right.
no idea when they changed (mk1/mk2 maybe?)
As can be seen they both have flat washer, but newer one has a taper part way down and wont fit older wheels.
