hiya there im in the prep process of spraying my car which is the fast way to take of the first few layers of paint at the mo im using 600 grit wet and dry and its taking ages help please

Thats the only way i have ever heard of i am afraid mate, am sure there will be a mechanical sander of some sort you could use?

I used a funny rubber drill bit for the work I've done then feathered the edges with 600 wet/dry.
Looks a bit like this one, it works really fast and doesn't damage any metal work.:afro:
