Used to own a 106 gti and im a member on 106owners, so i kinda no my way around the engine bay... anyways here it is:

Won it on ebay for 500 bucks worth it?

Loads of service history pulls well, pretty happy with it!

Plans are:

Gti leather,
White VTS alloys,
BMC CDA induction kit,
4-2-1 manifold,
Lower it about 50mm
Full through exhaust not sure what type though any ideas?

yeah it was a great price, im from cearphilly area but living over llantrisant with the mrs,

but already started running into problems, was on the motorway last night at about 80ish then it started juddering once or twice then i put it into neutral it idled for a few seconds then i tryed reving it and the oil and battery light came on and it died straight away without any revs at all,
stopped on the side and let it cool down started fine and got me home but i took it real easy,

any ideas?

Little news, thought it wasn't so much of a bargin, engine started running like shit, ended up putting it on the diagnostics and came up with the map sensor changed that and its running sweet again,

Also fitted a Pipercross enclosed air filter, pulls abit better but next thing il be getting is a 4 branch, also want some mk2 vts alloys,

ANYONE GOT ANY FOR SALE? as i cant view the for sale threads yet?
