hi guys, im wanting to do this tomorrow as it will be my only chance!

i have speakers on my parcel shelf and there currentely wired into my sub box amp. meaning my sub box gets bass and so do the speakers, iv;e got too much bass and not enough trebble. I want to wire my parsel shelf speakers on a complete seperate channel and have no involvment with my sub box amp. here is a diagram of the head unit:

One of the phono inputs has been used on my amp, there is anaditional phono connectors but is this an output meaning it wont work?

If thats the case, what do you suggest i do to have only trebble out the paesel shelf speakers and bass box for bass?

iv attempted to wire them to the back seat speakers and failed lol i think i shorted them.

has anyone got a pic on here of their parsel shelf speakers wired to the back speakers so i know how its done?

By looking at the diagram i may have to connect the additional to a amp then to the speakers. meaning i need to by an amp :wall:

if this is the case here are the speakers on my parsel shelf:

so from this what size amp will i need?

Thanks :y:

As the man says, just buy some speaker wire & run it from the head unit to the rear speakers.

what do you mean by port? the headunit will power 4 speakers, so if you cut the cables to the rear speakers behind the door card and crimp the parcel shelf speaker cables onto the cut cable.

i tried that with one side to see if it would work and when i turned on the music came out of the 6x9, nor the back speakers nor the front speakers meaning i must have blew something, we have came to a conclusion that i could have damaged the cars built in amp. so i could try the rear speakers again, if not then will have to find a plug on the head unit i can attatch the 6x9's to so that there on a seperate channel.

i had a look at the headunit today and the rca plugs next to the car antena doesnt work, and my amp is wired to one of the two rca outputs, meaning i have one pair spare, so my idea was to wire the 6x9's the the remaining rca.

by attatching both pos together on the speakers and same with the neg then pass them down to the head unit, then wiring some phono connecters on the two cables and plug them in.

here is a pic of what i mean:

Are you some form of fool ?

Surely you did not wire the speakers up to the pre-out ? That will never fucking work.

You must be winding us up. I give up.

I have sent you a pm offering help, you failed to reply.
