ok people, ill cut the story short, 2day i just fitted a sub in mr car. ive wired this up to the subwoofer cable from my headunit.
i also have another pair of rca's coming from my head unit which run my 6x9's on the mdf shelf
but now im getting interference when i start the engine and run it. i thought id do a quick test so i disconected the sub rca cables and the interfence stopped.
does any 1 no why im getting this
ive herd i need a noise suppresor of sum sort, but will this defo do the job, the interfernce aint loud, just annoying
any help will be appreciated

make sure that the rca cables are running at least 8 inches away form the power cables.
and
get a decent set of rca cables - cheap cables can cause a lot of interference

power cables should be run down one side of the car and RCAs should run down the other.

i had the same issue with mine (jvc headunit)........
mine was a grounding issue.......i uprated my ground and i had to ground the casing of the headunit (there was a screw on the back of mine which i put the ground onto)
hope that helps as its quite annoying ;)

Glad you got it sorted mate.
So i guess you still had the noise after connecting the new ground, that is why you went for a suppressor?

However, run your RCA cables on the opposite side of vehicle. You do not want to run power wires and signal cables on the same side of the vehicle. This could induce noise into your system.
