wheres the remote wire

im sure this has been asked before but... where is the remote wire.... is it on the headunit itself or on the wiring loom what plugs into the hu.

the car is not at mine its in the garage being resprayed so i cant even have a look, so thought i would ask lol

the remote wire is on the loom, usually blue. if you look in you headunit it should have a sticker telling you what colour wire is what :)

It tends to be the newer headunit that have it on them, if it doesn't have it on it, it's the blue oneor could even be anything that is giving it 12v input I.e cigarette lighter output would work, if you want it on all the time (bad way to do it though). All it is is the wire that tells the amp if powers going to the headunit or not so it should turn the amp on
