hmm i not sure weather to keep going with the sanding its gettin borin tbh

im thinking maybe a nice red but thn i dont know if i want chrome

what do you guys/girls think?

keep standard mate or have resprayed in mat black or silver paint but change the badge for a new one a clean rocker looks mint bright ones look bit odd unless the rest matchs

It's hard work ain't it?!

Took me four hours to get mine the way you seen them at Crail!

Have you got a colour theme going throughout the car cause that could be an idea for getting them painted or even powdercoated.

can you not get a wire brush drill bit that might be easier!!

I done it all by hand, I took my time with it & it still shows up scratches so a wire brush drill bit would be useless tbh.

I know ppl have used an electric sander & polisher to do the job if in a wee bit of a rush :n:

To get a good shine you need to work down to very fine wet and dry and yes it does take alot of time.
You can buy a polishing kit and grades of soap that go in a drill and get a good result.

Be careful with chroming as the seals will need to come out and then you will need to use sealant aswell on them.

Can do you a nice set of very shiney bolts to set it off.
