I have just started a collage course on motorsport engineering i had my first day on monday and its great so far. Before the end of the year the group is making a kit car from scratch in the workshop, and then at the end of the year the staff are going to race it. Then another for the second year. Also we are going on trips to places like santa pod or car shows, anywhere that we feel is relevent to the course we can request to go there.:panic:

And to think the most exciting thing I did on my 2 year Electrical Engineering course was make an Alarm Clock and a Lap Timer :n:
Making a kit car is wiN.

Just a tip.... Dont drop behind on work because it is not an easy course to catch back up on.

They look amazing i tried to find a photo of one last night but couldnt. Also one of the staff used to have a 560bhp supra, but hesold it because he couldnt use it in many places apart from the motorway and its wheels spinned at 70

I wont, i love cars and tuning and all of that, hoping eventually to become a rally mechanic or something, like people have had offers from prodrive appretiships after the course and stuff like that.
Also every week I get thursday and friday off :)

They do a similar course at the college near me, not sure if you have to pay though... Sounds like you're going to have a great time though!
