Just lowered my car last sunday by 60mm, front and back on some Apex springs and front and rear shocks.

When i turn the wheel, not loads, but a fair, I feel like a clicking in the stearing wheel, definately coming from the front wheels,

does anybody have any ideas what it may be?

Cheers...

Only way to find out is have a look, get a mate to turn wheel while you check under bonnet/arches. Also have you moved the PAS pipe so it does not hit the steering track rod on drivers side? (search for this for pics etc).

Usually when people "tell" you things it is just a guess. The PAS pipe is a common query so should be able to find a thread on it (no time to look for you, sorry). Top mounts sometimes click and also springs jump around in the spring cup if top mounts are tight/dry/worn. Check drop links as well for wear and play. Hope you sort it buddy

yeah it is mate.

I'm a bit concerned.

If it is worn top mounts, is it a major problem?

thanks mate, but it doesn't really sound like the PAS because it is from both wheels, any more ideas?

Not a major problem and a reasonably cheap fix - but having said that it doesnt want to be ignored.

I think you can jack the car up and put a lever of some kind (crow bar) under the wheel you think it might be and lever the wheel up and down and you should be able to hear it clunking.

Have never done it myself though - if you have a local garage you trust then just pop it in and let them take a look.

from what i know the pas pipe should be pulled out of the way, either tie wraping or relocating it, otherwise on full lock/turning or full compression the car will stop giving fluid to the steering rack (i think) and eventually will ware through the pas pipe, and hello corroded car/no brakes >.<

ye if u havent bent/tied the pas pipe out the way , i'd put that on the to do list. i've heard it can be quite dangerous if ur top mount goes whilst your driving

mate has had a look at it today, and theres a loose/broken bolt, not sure where, but somewhere under the wheel.
Going to get a new one tomorrow, and get it hopefully fixed on tuesday.

Plus, going to try get some quotes on the top mounts as he said that may be a problem too.

apparently is doesnt but i lowered mine 40mm on spax and it was just catching the pas pipe so i had to bend it a little, now its fine, its only a 2minute job

Pas and braking are 2 completely seperate systems
I completely removed my pas system and the only but they share is the pas pipe goes about an inch away from a brake like

Any resolution here? i have a similar problem at the moment, would be interesting to see if top mounts solved it.
