removed my sub and amp now just have amped up components (team spl amp rainbow sl230 comps) there is no bass whatsover... my car is going track route but need some bass at least was thinking amped 6x9s i no your hate me but there light and cover everything... any ideas?

defo get some 6x9's and get some boxes to put them in, I have done a few landrover deffenders with 6x9's in boxes and they sound great.

6x9's are not shit especailly a good make of them arnt. Do it

6x9's can be good..as long as you don't put them in the parcel shelf. my mate has them in the back of his heardrests!

have you listened to a set in boxes?
I used the alpine type r in both deffenders i did and like i said they sounded great with lots of bass.:y:

lol i love how everyone says 6x9 are shit...
they CAN be, chances are they will be... but not always.
everything depends on spec, and how its all set up.
put a set in box's, and it will sound complety different!
why not, try it.

I have just built a specialist quick removable sound system for my track
car.
1 x 4 channel alpine amp, 1 x 10 inch sub, 1 set of alpine components
all on a quick connect plug running from an mp3 player
using quality SQ gear it sounds good.
Made it fit with my Geronimo cage.
