I've got some Nexen tires at the mo and to be honest they are bullshit. Theres hardly any grip atall grip atall, esecialy in the rain... fuck me there bad!
Anyway, i know toyo's are good. But why? What makes the good? Is it the design pattern on the tyre or is it better quality rubber?
Just wondering because when the tread on these gets bad im going to buy sum toyo's.
Cheers, Lloyd.

a lot of it has to do with compound, the softer the compound the more grip (but also shorter life-span (miles))
Tread pattern helps with rain more than anything, certain tread patterns are better at dispersing water than others.

there isnt really much more to it than that.
other than profiles really. and we all know, the lower the better ;)
Mich pilot sportys are great tyres, but not cheap at all! *tbh most michalins are good*
and at a fraction of the price goodyear F1 are pretty rad too!

Depends on driving style, where you do most of your miles EG motorways, the pressures you run and if you rotate your wheels mate
