Central Locking Reciever *HELP*

Basically my central locking has stopped working by my keyfob and my sunroof leaked very badly the other day so would this of been the cause to my reciever to stop working?

Were abouts is the reciever located anyone?

If its anything like mine (mk1 VTR) it will be located in the roof along with interior light and any leak around that area will have wiped that reciever out - trust me i know and still havent sorted it

i was just about to make a post about this subject, stopped working the same time as i noticed water leak from that area. can the reciever just be replaced? or does it need some sort of coding at main dealer?
