Hello everyone

I work for Bristol Street Motor's and today I had the rare opportunity to drive a FOCUS RS.

The branch manager of our storage depot by Birmingham Airport purchased it off one of his colleuges as he didn't like the door sill's because they didn't match the green of the car :homme:

So I was at work at around 1pm and out the corner of my eye I see this bright green rs pull up in the car park. So I ran out to have a look and got chatting to the man who owned it. One thing led to another and before he left I said

" I don't mean to be cheeky mate but could you take me round the block in the rs as ive never been in one before"

and his response was

" here mate take it for a spin"

to my suprise he hands the keys over into my hand so i jump's in and slowly drove it off the car park...

then when i was out of his sight i booted it and oooo myyyyy god

the power and torque is unbelievable...

near as makes no difference 300 bhp!!!!

That is my dream car, im aiming to be able to afford it in 5 years lmao:panic: The nearest thing i've been in is my mate's brothers ford focus st which is tuned up to 301 bhp, and the accelaration was brutal. And for the guy who said they don't handle that well....you're very misinformed and need to research before you post.

All the reviews i have read point at its amazing grip and handling, so no, they are not shit and neither are they poor handling cars, rather the opposite:y:

Wooo wooo I never said it was the best hot hatch but considering I drive new 1.25 fiestas and focus titaniums on a daily basis this was a little treat and I agree the megane is a far more agile chuckable car just I've always wanted to drive an rs and now I have that's all

If someone had got that bodykit custom made for their ST before the RS came out, they would have been branded a chav. Its got a lot of road presence but its too lairy, will look shit in a few years time when the noveltys worn off. Same goes for the paint. Like the orange.
