new backbox problem..

went down scrapyard today got a stainless steal backbox off a vtr/s for my 1.1 saxo..

seems to fit perfectly to the exhaust system, but the rubbers that hold the backbox onto the car dont seem to be long enough? what do i do? quite confused lol..

head to halfords or kwik fit to get longer ones. i had same problem trip to halfords for some powerflex hangers. jobs a gooden

I find the ones off ph1 clios work well, they come like a figure of 8 and you double them up.

just get some longer ones simple

you will need a VTS exhaust hanging bracket as the VTS has a different hanging arrangement than other Saxos due to the size of the OEM box
