I doubt you'd have enough sensible travel in the shocks left with a 60mm drop man. smileys/smiley13.gif

does that mean i cant do it or i just need to get shocks asap

you could probably get away with it but your shocks would be buggered within a few days and in those days you'd have some pretty iffy handling characteristics.
Go for the shortened shocks man.

It should be fine on just springs mate. Boz is down 60mm on just springs and his ride is fine, his handling is improved as well. I would recommend getting the shocks eventually though.

Yeah you'll be fine for quite a while mate, I had mine on just springs for nearly 2 years and it was fine. smileys/smiley2.gif

so you can just swap the springs at the front and lower the rear through the torsion bar and it will be fine?

yep i was the same as Dan for around 2 years and passed 2 mot's. iirc the only shocks which are genuinely shortened (which you'll need for a 60mm drop) are the Bilstein GrpN ones from GMC, which are the best on the market anyway.
