Hi.
Basicly i tryed to amp up my front comps.
I ran the wire from the out of the amp and then ran it to just before where the wires go through to the front door.
I cut the standard wires that go to the speakers to the door and then put the wires from the amp there.
It works fine. But when im driving i get like a constant screech that get higher pitch as i accelarate.
Any ideas?

You should check your earth points mate and if they're fine i'd earth the outer shields on the rca cables, worked for me. Don't waste your time and money on a suppressor.

Where do you reckon the earth points i should check be?
I looked and the main one i can see is the one by the door hinges and where the bolt goes onto it for the dashboard.

your best bet would be to strip a piece of cable so the metal is showing and touch it on both the metal outer shields on the rca leads and earth the other side of the cable somewhere on the car (while the car is started) just to see if that works. if the noise goes away then you can sort something more permanent out.

I have this problem but only when i'm in 5th going up hill at 30 and the engine struggles. I just gathered it's the engine struggling rather than the amp since i don't have one!
