Hey guys I got an interview for an electrical apprenticeship tomorrow, and just wondering what I should be wearing? Surely not a suit if you are gonna be an apprentice, or am I wrong?

Hmmmm :n:

ur a nooob lol first impression counts for everything.

you go in a suit the guy will see how well presented you are and they no you will turn out to work like that everyday in the proper attire.(oviously not a suit but proper pants boots high vis ect)

do in jeans a t-shirt and you might aswel walk up to him and slap him then ask for the job.

and good luck mate as im aware the industry is on its arse so your lucky,

Why not just wear the whole lot, including suit jacket? Thats the best first impression you can make, unless you're not really bothered about getting it.

I just feel like a tool in really formal gear, which may reflect in my interview acting like a bellend.... I think jacket would be overkill, but I see where you are coming from.

definately a suit! Im doing an electrical apprenticeship with Bosch, been pretty good so far, in my second year now. Some of the boys in college who are doing electrical apprenticeships with other companies were asked to wire a plug as part of their inteview so be prepared for something like that.
Good Luck though

Or you could go dressed as a massive plug. That would be pretty cool. Yeah go for that.

i think shirt and tie would be fine, aslong as your top buttons done up and ur tie is on properly so your looking the part thats fine.

there not going to say, "no jacket?"

good luck!

Would rather jam my lit cigarette down my japs eye while making various incisions on my bellend, whilst watching 2 girls one cup than stay at Waitrose.
