Scrubbing?

Ive noticed that since i put alloy wheels on my car 15" (195/45/15) - when i have 4/5 people in the car it makes a scrubbing noise like its really low.

But I can remember cramming 5 people in the car when i had the standard steelies on and it was fine?

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

standered wheels you can drop as fair as you like, as the car is built around the wheels in essence.

you have changed width, and wheel size.
chances are its the lip inside the arch, that needs cutting off and smoothed down.
or
with a pair of pliers or something, fold it up out of the way.
