I bought 4 vtr wheels the other day, today i got 3 on fine.. got to the drivers side front wheel and the wheel would not! sit flush on the hub!! i spent 2 fucking hours trying to get the thing on.. im not very good at stuff like this so it takes me longer anyway but was with my mate and he couldnt get it on either. Its like theres something sticking out too much on the hub that wont fit behind the centre cap of the wheel. I was trying to get 2 bolts in opposite holes, i put one in with the slightest of a turn but the other wouldnt go in and it would not sit flush whatever i tried so there was something stopping it. I took the passenger wheel off to see if that looked any different and it looked fine, i even tried a different wheel but nope its deffo something to do with the car not the wheels. All the other 3 wheels would sit tight and flush on the hubs without any bolts but there was NO way the front drivers one would sit flush no matter what.
Iv currently got 2 black vtrs on the back, and 2 15" silver 5 spokes on the front. Looks sh*t! but i ran out of light and patience!!!!
anyone have ANY clue what could be wrong or done?

theres like a centre ring around the hub nut that the wheel just fits over ,
get a bit of sand paper on it, it could a bit rusty?? just an idea you might have already tried it??
i had the same problem on my pug

its because its had the driveshaft taken off at some point and somebody has taken a hammer to the nut to push the shaft out the splines in the hub and it has flared the hub. i did it with mine and i cudnt get it on i tried for an hour then in the end i took the grinder out and grinded round the edge then greased it and it fit fine. simple.

What you should of done was
Put the wheel on the hub and placed to bolts into the wheel and into the hub like this
o 0
0 o 0 = being the bolts
then screw them right up and it will pull them in...
2 of mine did not want to go in but i did what i just told you and it worked :)
