Im building a pc for the gf to have at uni, ive got loads of spares and i cant deciede what one to make, i have 2 options

1. Celeron D at 2.8ghz

2. P4 at 2ghz

Now i know p4 is better, but the celeron is runing 800mhz faster. I have got one of these http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-234-1.htm
so might overclock the p4 a tad. What would you guys go for?

lol, na vista you'r kill it, need a dual core cpu to run probley, but i got it running on a p4 running at 3.02ghz.

I got the samsung nc10, bigger screen than the hp mini so easier to use, then just used the crucial memory tool to upgrade, i know its the lazyway but u get a 100% match and they are very reasonable, i didnt pay for next day, used the free and it still came the next day. I mainly got it for uni as it weighs next to nothing, i just couldnt face walking around all day with a 15" in my bag, plus the samsung can get about 6 - 7 hours out the battery.

shud be quiet a good little system, although performance will lack if you used a cheap HHD and MB
