Hey, and welcome to sax-p.

Nice looking saxo mate, the only thing i would change is the size of the wheels. Gets some 17" or even maybe 18" on there, and then it will be looking sweet.
What plans you got for it then?

needs lowering and a splash of paint but otherwise looks ok. Are you doing anything with the doors or just leaving them as they are..

I would put 17" or even 18" wheels on there but the only thing is that its 3 stud....if u look in the pictures...the max size wheels me gona get on it are only 16" that if im lucky aswell....but i was finkin somethin like 18" black deep dish alloys if i get a 4 stud conversion...ive got all the gear i need from a 106 i had...i also got the springs and shox...so im jus waitin to put them on...but im in doubt coz i got a feelin they aint gona fit...ive been told so much from so many people...some people say it will fit and some say they wont...i dont knw who to beleive so im jus think TRIAL N ERROR!!!!

ANY HELP FROM ANY1 EXPERIENCED OUT THERE???

Well my opinion dont really like it , it needs lowered but in the second pic looks like it already has on the back , need some bigger wheels scrap lexus lights,
need to do something with the doors as its not coming flush with the side skirt near the arch remove rear wiper , and lick of paint .

no need to kit a saxo VT* in the first place, look superb with the standard vt* kit, and that errrrrr well not my cup of tea either but chill out lads, if he likes it then fair play, i think some of you here have got a atitude problem, and work together becuase you know each other etc... with all due respect, you dont know him, and saxomeli you saying thats not your cup of tea either? i think yours forgot what colour its meant to be; but thats my opinion, all im saying no need to be harse, the car needs lowering and a new paint job thats about it. smileys/smiley14.gif

ladies and gentleman c'mon....no faith...its not finished yet...still in working progress...i have to admit i think the front of the car looks a lil bit off as in ugly 1) coz not paint 2) coz no grill 3) not lowered yet...does n e 1 knw wetha 106 gti springs and shox will fit on a sax???

i think people are just gving there views, when you post something on the internet you will not please everyone.

When i post a pic of my car i want honest feedback, dont just want people to say its nice when it isnt to make me happy, end of the day its the internet and if you really fell ofended (sp) by what people say you need to get a grip.

Back on topic....

if it was me i would get a rub rebstrip for the door, lower it and put 17" wheels then spray it. also find another front bumper, i hate how the gril joins into it.

But all in all, its your car mate do what you want. you have to live with it

First of all, i did not say anything to the chap about his car, if he likes it like that then 100% fair play, secondly im more than aware that this is open forum, its just that i feel as though in this forum (in general) people who know each other team up on others, which kind of out of order, ok allow this now, the car looks ok as it it, but needs minor improvments mate, such as lowering and a respray, shame about the 3 stud alloys, i remember them on my AX, god it was such a pain to get decent alloys back in those days, but im sure if you look around, there's going to be some nice rims for your machine, 3 stud ones, im sure i seen some adevrts in the fast car mags as of late regarding new 3 stud alloy designs, even some 17" inch ones. smileys/smiley4.gif Good luck with the car none the less.

IMO! that body kit doesnt suit the saxo at all, but saying that i hate bodykits the only kit i would even consider putting on my saxo would be the dimma kit!

Looking at your pics your not going to get it much lower as your sideskirts look really low to start with.

They are not exactly going to lie and say ye it the most amazing car ive ever seen when really they think its shit.

il give my opinion, cant say im jumping on the band wagon as everyone knows what i think before i even say it...

imo its awful, i would of put a vt kit on and left it at that, instead of gettin a kit i would of got a hub conversion so i had more choice of alloys

that front bumper is awful, just doesnt go

reef - he asks for peoples opinions, and they have been given...jsut because alot are bad then doesnt mean people are teamin up, me and saxx think the same, i think its safe to say we never agree and would never team up....

Well hello again people....Im sori 4 startin any sort of arugument...i asked a simple question....wot do u guys think of my car...and now ive got the answer...and its fair enuff that u dont all like it...its all good. atleast now i know what i need to work on (bigger wheels, Deffinatly pain t without a doubt) just to let u guys know...its only a 1.1 so it never had the VT* kit to start with...i can tell not many people like the front bumper...any 1 got the sypher front bumper for sale??? im also after some angel eyes...and as for the colour i was thinking for either matt black, gun metal or baby blue-ish!!! its just a lil darker than baby blue with glitter in...

Again i would like to apologise for any upsets ive caused....ive joined this forum to look at other sax's and get help opinions and ideas thats all...

again NO HARD FEELINGS PEOPLE!

well i was after than alcantara interior from the 106 gti but its hard to get hold of, so i went and bought 2 bucket seats, i put them in and everything but they were too high as they were on the normal subframes, so ive put the standard seats back in and now im jus looking for universal bucket seat subframes....i was thinking of taking the back seats out to reduce the weight tinting the whole of the back 100% eventually gettin the pain job done

hiya mate! i prefer the subtle look to saxos but fair play for the work uve done! just get some vt door cards for the front doors so it all meets the kit! gunmetal with the colour all the way! will look good! also do a 4 stud conversion...not hard to do at all mate! ive done one on my 1.0 vtr conversion! easy to do and shudnt cost much either! good luck anyway!

Personally what i would do is rip the bodykit off scrap it or maybe try and sell it if any one wants it, and replace it with VT bumpers and skirts, or as your into your body kit something more subtle like the dimma kit,

But thats what id personally do, but hey its your car if you like it mate go for it not everyone has the same taste.

I have to say, that saxo looks terrible. Personally I would also ditch the kit and put something a little more subtle on the car. Could do with slamming and a respray.

This is only my opinion, it's your car and you havn't built it to try and please other people...

Not really my kind of thing, but that's only because I'd damage a car like that if I had to drive it. I like the idea of the baby blue with the glitter in it. Is this your everyday car too or just a car for the shows??

..It might look good with a spoiler that wil go with the kit better than the aluminium one that it has now. Bit of lowering and bigger wheels and it'll look fine I'm sure. Then there's just the problem of driving it!

Well that has the same zaust set up as me... and the same rear bumper..... and the same skirts....., Admit it.. you want to have the same car as me?

Loose the spoiler,
Loose the lights,
LOOSE that front bumper... Its like the worst one on the world...

At the end of the day... Everyone hates my car smileys/smiley17.gif, But it's each to there own and if you want a car what you feel comfartable in then why not do it? As someone has pointed out 'Leckie' i think.. not to sure said 'I want honest feedback'. Sax-P is very good at that but the majority of people on here are dead against OTT kits such as mine and your self. Just stick at it if thats what you want.

The problem with kits is that so many other cars look identical to yours... Thats one thing i regret when i put the kit on,
