As said in the title my drivers door just wont open at all!! any ideas guys? cheers.

Can you unlock the door? If not the small bar that goes from the lock barrel to the locking mechanism may have worked its way loose or snapped

on a serious note. see if you can remove the door card and have a look inside at the rods and lincages.

can you not unlock from inside or outside ?

Cant open it from inside or out:wall: If i push the door pin down or pull it up it does activate the central locking but door just wont budge, and obviously this means i cant get the door card of then, duno what can be done!!

rite, finally managed to get the drivers door open but it still wont open from the inside! the only way i can get it open is to put the key in, turn it clockwise as far as it goes and while holding it there pull the handle

Im really stuck now for ideas and need to get this fixed to put the car through its MOT, anyone got anymore ideas?? cheers

mine has done the same, i de pinned it about a year ago and now randomly it locks its self the motors work but its like it is feeling a resistance *goes to unlock but then locks again* so i have to unwind the window and put key threw the window to unlock it that away!

need a solution quick tbh!!

My old VTR did the same, theres a metal rod thats connects into a plastic clip that has more than likely come out

lol thats kinda funny. i can image u pullin up in a nice car then puttin ur key out the window and openin it from the outside lol

lol i think tomo im guna oil up all my door lockin mechs to try prevent this happenin to me :P
