I know i know, its another lowering question so sorry in advanced...

Basically its an auction from a garage who will lowerer the car front and back for £125.

Check this first...

Full lowering auction (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8031837728&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK:1)

I emailed them to find out what springs were installed and how they lower the rear. Here's the response...

hi,for this offer im using PI springs, ive used these springs for a while with no problems. The system that i use to lower the Saxo is the correct way as i totally remove the torsion bar and adjust the height to you required amount.unlike other garages that knock the trailing arm off and adjust it by notches and in the process damage the bearings.Rest assured your car will be lowered correctly,we have lowered hundreds of saxos.

Well im happy about the rear being lowered properly, but could do with knowing if PI are good or crud? Has anyone had any dealings with the garage???

Cheers peeps!!!

the Pi's are not the best for handling but i assume you just want the car lowered so they'll be fine. and it sounds like he does the rear correctly too.

looks like the one in the pic is a little low at the back though lol.

Looks like a fairly genuine auction to be honest.

Does £125 sound a good price for the springs, fitment and torsion bar adjustment?

To be honest i could do the springs myself its just the torsion bar that'll be a faff. I've got the number so i'll just get a quote for the rear and settle with that.

Whats worse: Driving 50 miles with the car looking like a hotrod or looking like its got 5of americas fattest people in the boot?

Ive had mine done at this garage its only two minutes from my house, they've done a good job on mine,i would recommend them. Some places around here where going to charge me £150 plus to lower it only 40mm. smileys/smiley5.gif
