driver door wont open.

hey iv had my vts for quiet a while now and never had any problems, but the driver side door started playing up recently. the door would stay locked and wouldn't unlock from inside or out. after a few quick turns of the key it sorted it self out but it has got worst and now the door does not unlock at all. I don't think any one has tried breaking into the car because its garaged overnight and there are no signs of forced entry. the key goes in and turns but doesn't go all the way to unlock. Im tired of getting in and out from passenger door so have just had it parked up for a week. any suggestions??

can goto citroen and get a barrel made up exactly like the one you have

take off the door cards by getting in the other side of the car, then unlock the door by the rod, take the door lock off and go to citroen and they can make you up a new barrel to fit your existing key

dont you have a key fob?
