a quaife ATB stands for "automatic torque bias" differential, this basically means it directs a higher proportion of the engine's torque (or power) to the wheel that has the most grip, so on a saxo it'll give whichever wheel is under the most load more power, which improves handling and overall traction throughout corners.

it stops you spinning the inside wheel when gunning it round a corner by sending power to the outer wheel.
fancy bit of kit and really underrated.
costs a bit though lol
