hey my sexbox isnt reading any discs can anyone help???

If its not under warranty anymore dismantle it and check the circular metal bit in the lid of the drive hasn't detached from the top. Happened to mine many moons ago (hitachi drive but it might have had something to do with me booting it across the room) , glued it back on and its sorted.. Failing that your laser might be dirty or the worst case scenario is kaput which would require you to either replace the laser itself or get another drive and dump the firmware (the key in the drive needs to match the motherboard) to flash or spoof into the new 'un. Sounds more complicated than it is but im sure someone on here may be able to help you out. Theres also a process called pot tweaking which may get you a bit longer out of the drive. Google it as its not too hard but you'll need a multimeter. Fork that was an essay...hah
