How about some Eton PRX 130's? They retail at £90 a set, im selling them for £80 at the minute. They slot straight in and will go very loud just off the headunit. It might not stand for much, but they would in a sound off in last months fast car against the likes of Moral, Focal, Alpine, DLS etc.

coaxials:

The components are £80 and the coaxials are £60, a very nice piece of kit, will meet your needs well.

component: you have the mid and low outputted by one speaker (130mm cone). With high end outputed by a tweeter (the little thing in the pic above). The signal is directed by a crossover (the square thing).

Coaxial is in one package, so the tweeter is located on top of the 130mm speaker

I think anyway smileys/smiley4.gif

components.

components are better as the crossover seperates the different musical frequencies, sending the high frequencies to the tweeter and the lower frequencies to the mid bass speaker. They offer a more 'natural' sound staging.

However if you dont want to start hacking at door cards to mount crossovers and tweeters then coaxials are an alternative.
