Currently in the process of changing the bearing on rear passenger side arm due to play. I used to be able to get these for £20 but have gone up to £34 each and was wondering if there is anywhere cheaper?

Not that i know of, i've used peugeot bearings since the word 'GO' and although a bearing is a bearing, i wouldnt compromise on quality to save a few quid on something.

If there's play, the stub pins are likely to be worn too - you can either have them replaced by someone like jpsaxo on here, or can buy a beam off another car with good pins and fit the trailing arms (with new bearings) from your old axle. :)

As Lee said, just replacing the bearings will not fix the problem here guys!

Thanks for the replies - I am actually in the process of rebuilding the rear axle with my Dad. I have checked the stubs and they are in good condition to be honest no major pitting. My Dad knows someone who replaces the stubs on all types of axles and thinks mine should be ok. How much do you charge out of interest to change the stubs? Got a VTR rear beam off an 03 plate in good condition with g-max spings for a very good price the other week!

"No major pitting" - if theres any marks then the pins need replacing mate. PM piggy123 (my brother) for prices
