my brake line to the front of car looks like its snapped or justy got a hole in. i have been told that lowering the v=car may of affected this as the car geometry etc changes.
would this be the cause???

Lowering your car shouldnt have caused your brake lines to snap/have a hole appear in them.
I think you should probably get this fixed though......
If you do have a hole/leak in the brake system then you should be experiencing pretty much no braking at all. The brake pedal will sink all the way to the floor and will do pretty much nothing. You will know if you have a problem like this from driving it and not looking at it.

yes it could if it is causing the brakeline to sit in the wrong place. it could rub on something. just replace the line and make sure it is sitting correctly
