Depends what role your after I was on Monster and got 5 replies in two weeks, although I had got a job after a few days from elsewhere.

Tried papers and internet, no one gets back to me. Although I have a high suspicion that I have no qulaifications on paper so i wont get anywhere, although I am training for MCSE CCNA at this present time.
Unforutnately its my fault for not pursuin I.T. earlier on in life as I would be somewhere by now, and also know nothing about .Net or C and its counterparts :(

Depends what kind of IT you mean? Hardware or software? Most places near me all just want web designers and stuff which i hate. Currently into the whole refurbishment business which is pretty good.
Maybe try local computer shops? All gotta start somewhere :)

Very truie, I used to do a lot of data destruction for ex MOD systems, but the place was bankrupted after a year.
Refurbishment is ok if you have the wage for it.

I'm doing a ict btec national diploma at the moment, then next year I specialise in web design. Should be a good field to go into.
