1.4 gearbox fitment type

hi ppl ive now found another gearbox for my westie, i think its out of a early 1.4 saxo not a westie, are the gearbox and ratios still the same? and where can i find the part number on my gearbox? still on the car bearing in mind lol cheers Lee

the gearbox code is on a flat section on the front of the gearbox. The flat section faces the n/s wing (perpendicular to the driveshaft)

I presume the gearbox is off a vsx - it'll fit fine on a westcoast.
