Was on my way home from college this afternoon and there was a minibus in front of me, well we went round some twisties and it started getting close to the grass chucking up some shit then all of a sudden it just went off road and through a thick hedge, how it didnt roll i do not no!
Pulled over and run through the hedge and the lady driving was un concious, and had passengers in which were all old biddys so they woulda been crapping them selfs, then the lady woke up got out and had a fag and was like...err whats happended!
Before i walked away i had to say "I've seen some women drivers park, but that tops it off"

It was wierd at first i said to my mate who was in the car with me, they're either not paying attention or on the phone, then literally after that it just went clean off the road, down a ditch and through the hedge!

Hence why I personally think that all drivers with the old style license which includes C1 and D1 should have to have a medical if driving anything above the normal B/B+e etc.....
Could have been a lot worse for you mate.

Thats totally true nij. she was easy pushing 50-60 and thats not being a piss taker!
Well this is what i said to my mate, im glad she went off the round our side through the hedge rather then going in the oppisite lane hitting an on coming car because i would of most likly been involved then

exactly mate.
i mean she got her minibus license most porbably through 'grandfather rights' (ie - having passed before the change in 1999 or when ever it was) if infact she has a new style license. When the exam was different and when there wasnt as many vehicles on the road. I am not saying that they should have that part of their license removed (so they can only driver a car/van upto 3500kg and a 750kg trailer) BUT they should have to take a medical and I also think medicals should be at 40 for everyone like they are for LGV/PSV drivers. Also re-take test/refreshers to be done every 10 years or so....................blah.............dont get me started! lol

I know its certainly a piss take.
She had old biddys on there about 80 could hardly move i hope they was ok, if she would of rolled it god knows what kinda state they would have been in, not even sure if they had seat belts on either!
I bet if that was me in my saxo i woulda gone done by police and taken to court for dangrous driving, but because shes a old codger she will get away with it!

Good on you :y:
I do agree that some sort of re-test / refresher testing and a medical should be done on regular intervals.

Hence why I personally think that all older drivers (over 28ish) with the old license which includes C1 and D1 should have to have a medical if driving anything above the normal B/B+e etc.....

glad things are ok mate. I remember on my way to my gfs house with her and the child in the car this turbo d 306 was in the other lane but that was for the motorway, so she came into the other lane the right one from me then she flew on and at the time i thought she was racing me but i slowed down, then around 5 seconds later she lost control and swerved over into my lane up the footpath hit a lampost then the wall and spun out parking perfectly straight with the bodykit all over the place totallt write off. but if i had of been going a few mph faster me the child and the gf would have been involved aswell :-s scary thought eh?
then stayed there made sure they were ok and then after i went to the gfs house i went to the hospital they was at (just down the street from my mums house) and asked were they ok and made friends obviously but was scary thought.

Maybe she couldn't cope with so many biddies and was trying to knock a few of them off?

No if they had made it to the happy house the med. would have done that for them, they may have been trying to escape and get on run stagger from the law, zima, wobble and wounder...
