I think Joiner, i am one, and i think it has the best variation of jobs... From internal doors, to external doors and windows, roofs, skirtings, theres loads of things compared to other trades..

Think it is the most exciting aswell, Walking on roof's with no harnis = natural high

if you have enough to give basic needs then thats all that matters. I know people who are really unhappy in high paid jobs, and others who love their life just getting by normally.

engineering isnt the best trade at the minute. soo much work has gone to india and china closing alot of uk engineering firms its gunna be hard for uk engineering to recover imo.

Painter and decorator :P
just started my college course doing this and its fun, im now walking around my house looking for bits i can fix :L
and im gonna learn to do marbling aswell, because my teacher (who runs his own decorating trade) does it, and he said from one piece you could earn hundreds!
any trade if its used in a house will be good
plumbing, electrition, joiner, bricklayer... etc. People will pay for these things all the time and if you do a good job theyl call you for other jobs :)

dannyboycov1991

all trades are essential, a roofer couldnt put a roof on the house if it hasnt been made by a bricklayer, same as carpentry sparky etc, everyone has there own roles.
