Would a f*cked driveshaft cause knocking?

Would a duffed driveshaft cause knocking in the gearbox when shifting gears? as i know my driveshaft is on its way out, its just the fact knocking is not occuring

If i am wrong correct me, but i do believe as the damage gets worse so will the knocking, due to the internals failing and basically griding.

could do but id reckomend changing the driveshaft asap as u know its is alredy fukd then problem solve 4rm there duffed wheel bearings can cause a knocking/banging sound so can so many things under ur bonnet fix what you know is broke then series of elimination 4rm there my friend trust me av just had to change both drive shafts the clutch and a hub to get rid of myns rattles bangs lol clutch was well fukd haha
