just wondering if anyone has a ruff idea how much wheels fetch at scrap?
I have 2 13" Steels that are ready for the scrap,and will have another 2 13"'s tnight. and a 14" ready to go

all with fucked tyres

not sure you would get much, scrap metal gets sold by the tonne, so unless you have a good few wheels, i dont see you making very much 10-20 quid if your lucky

well seeing a si paid £15 for a set of 4,and the 14" was my spare and the other 2 13"'s are free...thats fine by me

i just cba with them sat in the garden...neither can the parents

7 wheels must have some weight behind them

the price of scrap steel is shit, tbh you'll prob get about 50p, if that!!

I got £13 for a 1400 gearbox, a 1.6 blacktop and a 1.4 alloy block. SO yeah its not worth it mate lol.

Scrap prices are wank now. Have been for over a year. Prices for used cats went from £60 each to £20 literally overnight about a year and a half ago and theyve not recovered.

scarps about 30-40 per tonne for steel atm, youll get a ten pence mix up

scrap is at 120 a tonne for steel, thats at wards metals not a back street yard who just take their scrap to the likes of sims and wards. need a lot of wheel rims to make it worthwhile though
