Hi guys/gals,
I put this up for my Sensei (Karate Instructor) this week and would love for a bit of feedback from people. It wasnt hand created, i used a program to do it, i am not claiming to be a web design master, but for now it is something.
I am limited with what i can do with the layout, but i am learning.

Cheers Ryan lol
It was only a very rough crappy pic to get it on the site. I will be taken another one soon, with my newly acquired 40D. Any tips for shooting White on Black?

Actually it's much better than what most peole do when they make their first few websites. Bright colours eveywhere, wordart, times new roman links etc.
Looks clean and simple. I like :y:

Thank you!
The idea was to keep it clean simple and easy to use/navigate. If there is one thing i hate its cluttered and un-user friendly sites!

tut tut, fails on validation, you didn't encode your ampersands.

If its your first attempt its not too bad.
Personally I think the headers a bit tacky and you should make the width a bit smaller, since there doesnt seem to be massive amounts of information on it you dont need the website to fill the screen.
Here is a website i made for an estate agent, bearing in mind it was made a while ago when my website skills were a it noobish, hence marquee text scrolling 90mph lol.

Thats a nice site, what did you use to create it or was it all done by scratch? I like the blocks and the menu system.
What do you think i could do to improve the header? I am limited to text only unless i create my own CSS for the header.
Thanks

You should get NetBeans if your going to do some PHP.
http://www.netbeans.org/downloads/index.html
Has a good syntax checker.
Need to get you started on jQuery too with some ajax shizzle.
