i was pulled over recentlyand was told that my exhaust was to loud ! so was just wondering if any1 else has had this and if any1 does no what the law is on this !

yer is between certain hours, same sorta lines as the law on loud music, between 11pm and 7am or somethin in res areas...

my m8 had this on his 106 rallye didnt get a fine but was told by the copper nxt time he sees it on his car hes gonna snap it off he basically told him 2 f**k off ! lol ! not sure wat exhaust is onmine it came with the car wen i bought it !

i think it cant be over 100 cecibels or something like that, but if the exhaust was on at MOT time then its perfectly legal, tho the time on noise is probally why you got the fine.

There is a law on exhausts being over a sertain DB level. There is also a law on using your horn between 11pm and 7am.

mot failure if too loud too

has to be somet like 110or 120+ at least though id say as thats the noise pollution for household noise before complaints can be made.

found out cause my old mate was a drummer an his neighbours couldnt touch him if he used brushes instead of sticks lol
