i hear rumours of sky tv lauching the sky player in mid - october, been able to watch pretty much every sky channel. I myself like the idea being able to watch movies and sports on my xbox. So basically what do you all think?

IIRC you still need to have a sky subscription to view though.... which would suck for me if you need one...

Good idea, seen it advertised on Sky.

You need a Sky Subscription to get it on Xbox.

I think you can watch any channel as I have the package that lets me watch sky on my computer so I gave this to aimee who is now my ex but she can watch sky things on her laptop and shes 10 miles from my sky box

live channels and premium content, all of which are available via a choice of subscription packages or on a pay-per-view basis

Was going to say something similar.

Its all well and good having those features. But Im sure that will mean your Xbox will just end up dying much quicker.

Big fan of Xbox 360 generally. Just a shame its never going to be a reliable platform.
