got the hold of a vtr axle....the bias valve pipes etc are not in good condition......
The axle is going onto a 1.0 model saxo.....can i just put the existing lines straight into the rear calipers (flexipipe) ??

Are you swapping the axle yourself?

Right, then you have some mechanical knowledge.
If i was you i would go to a local motor factors and get a pipe flaring tool, some copper pipe and some new ends for it. The beam has a bias adjuster for a reason... lessons the pressure to the rear brakes so the rear doesnt lock up before the front. I really would make up some lines and keep it on there. make sure the pipes you make look relatively good too, if the mot tester doesnt like how the pipes are routed then he'll fail it.

Thanks for the reply dude, so yo recon the back would lock up if brake bias was not connected?

yes there is less weight at the rear or the car so applying the same brake pressure to the rear will lock up
