Glove Compartment

When i open the glove compartment it just falls out, the hinge seems to not be connected, anyone else had this problem and how can you come around to fixing it?.

on the left hand side of the glove box lid, there is a 'locating arm' there should be a tiny lip at the top and that stops it from popping out, that bit usual breaks or wears away. not sure the best way of fixing it tho, apart from a working one from a scrappy.

Yeah i know what you mean, i'll have a look tomorrow at it and see if i can fix it, if not i'll take a trip to the scrapyard and get a fixing one.

yeh mine was f*cked from bought so i paid 5er for mine from the scrappy

It's the plastic along the bottom of the lid what has come away , i can take the lid completely out , trying to think of a solution for the lid to go flat and then shut back up normally .

my hinge had snapped off so i went scrappy and got a new one
