Back axles and how to lower?

stub axles on rear axle.

In the process of swopping over my brakes onto a axle thats got drums. have stripped down the back axle and ready to put my bits onto it. beside from 1stub axle is still stuck in my axle and wont come out. any tips on getting this out? tryed hammering etc etc.:panic:

ALSO any body got a guide on how to lower the back axle?

search for a guide on here mate, there are loads.
as for the stub axel, do you mean the trailing arm? all it takes is a big hammer and beat it off
