they are a pain to do but if u take your time they come out pretty good. i did mine with blue leatherette with a foam underlay.

i found cuting just the tops of the rivits off was better than driling them off.
pop card out
rip off old fabric clean off
glue up using evo stick both fabric and card leave to set then lay it on
start in the groove where u rest your arm, then work outwards and don;t over stretch it
leave off to dry overnight
then poke the rivits back thro
and screw down using short fat screws and washers and they hold on really well.
any questions just pm me mate

what did you use to cut the tops off with as i had a spare door card and thought i would give it a try and used a dremmel but it made more work after i had popped it out. as all i need to do is leather the door cards and my interior is finished :D

i used a stanley knife to cut around the top of the mushroomed part, so it left most of the plastic in tack so u can get a screw to bite into it

thanks for that mate i think i can now smooth the door pin hole and do my trim now. as all i was going to do was use some kind of clear bond but your way sounds the best. have you got any pics of it?

yeah i thought about this i am not keen on the idea of using some kind of bond to hold the trim back onto the door card.
