Im trying to download the new version/update but I keep geting an error. Anybody know how to solve it or also having this problem?

just manually download it from filehippo.com

Are you download from the apple website or did you go onto your current iTunes and click help then check for updates?

It popped up when I opened iTunes and gave the options Download and Cancel

Just uninstall itunes and go on to apple's website again and download the newest version ?
