jus had front brakes replaced (discs and pads) on vtr mk2, paid £157 which i fort was ok but some mate reckons iv been ripped off! any 1 know if thats about rite so i know whether to cry or not?!

that sounds ok matey give or take £10

pads are about £15 + vat
dics are about £30 each + vat
labour is about £50 + vat
total £125 + vat = £147 ish

I got all the parts for my mates vtr (2x front disks, 2x front pads, 2x rear disks, 2x rear pads) all in for less than £90 from euro car parts, then fitted myself. Its not exactly hard to do, its about 1hrs work so say £30 on top so £110-130
